Arena 2024

As part of the "Saraswatham" Navaratri celebrations, Folkland with the CSR support of Dorf Ketal organized a unique event titled "Areena" at the Folkland Centre, Payyanur on 10th October 2024. The program included workshops on traditional Christian performing arts such as Margamkali, Parichamuttukali, and Chavittu Natakam. The series was inaugurated by Dr. V. Jayarajan, Chairman of Folkland, while T.J. Johny, the Director of the workshops, presided over the event. The gathering also featured inspiring speeches by Kathakali maestro T. T. Krishnan and V.P. Chandran, who shared their insights into the cultural significance and rich heritage of these art forms.
