ART 360 Workshop

Folkland, with CSR support from Dorf Ketal and in collaboration with Renu Arts Foundation, successfully conducted ART 360, a three-day career development workshop for young artists at the Folkland Centre, Payyanur. Held from 8 AM to 8 PM, the program offered an immersive experience through lectures, demonstrations, videos, Q&As, and hands-on sessions. Led by Anita Kulkarni, founder of Renu Foundation of Arts, the workshop equipped 20 young artists in dance, music, acting, and painting with psychological, emotional, social, and professional tools for holistic development. The workshop began with an inaugural session featuring Kathakali maestro T.T. Krishnan, with Dr. V. Jayarajan presiding. Renowned artists like Jagadeesh Janardhanan and Divya Jagadeesh shared their best wishes. Day one focused on self-development tools, public speaking, time management, and holistic living. Day two featured sessions by Kathakali expert Kalamandalam Narayanan Nambeesan and Ottam Thullal artist Karivellur Ratnakumar, deepening participants’ engagement with traditional art forms. The final day included performance reflections and a valedictory function, inaugurated by MLA Shri T.I. Madhusoodanan and graced by Kerala Sahitya Akademi Awardee Prof. A.M. Sreedharan. Anita Kulkarni and Usha Sagar were felicitated, and certificates were distributed, marking the participants’ growth and commitment through this enriching initiative.
