ATHACHAMAYAM GHOSHAYATRA 2026

Athachamayam Ghoshayathra 2026- Folkland – International Centre for Folklore and Culture, with the generous support of Dorf Ketal Chemicals India, participated in the Athachamayam Ghoshayathra 2026 at Thrippunithura, presenting four vibrant traditional art forms—Alamikkali, Poorakkali, Mari Theyyam, and Mangamkali. A team of 45 artists brought the richness of Kerala’s living folk and ritual traditions to the grand procession, adding colour and energy to the celebrations. Folkland’s participation highlighted the importance of preserving, promoting, and passing on Kerala’s diverse intangible cultural heritage to future generations.
