Empowering young minds through heritage — where mural art and rhythm come alive at Attappadi.

As part of the World Heritage Week Celebration, Folkland International Centre for Folklore and Culture, with the CSR support of Dorf Ketal, successfully conducted the Mural Painting Workshop inauguration and Chenda debut at APJ Abdul Kalam International Residential Tribal School, Attappadi on 21 November 2025. The workshop introduced tribal students to Kerala’s mural art through hands-on training, fostering creativity and cultural awareness. The six-month programme concluded with a debut performance at Malliswara Temple, Chemmannur, followed by the distribution of certificates. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. V. Jayarajan, Chairman of Folkland, and warmly received by the school community, reflecting the success of this meaningful heritage initiative.
