Folkland Champions Green Heritage: World Environment Day Celebrated with Mangrove Afforestation and Cultural Solidarity

On World Environment Day, Folkland International Centre for Folklore and Culture, in partnership with the Ezhimala Naval Academy and local communities, planted 1,000 mangrove saplings, reaffirming its commitment to ecological restoration. The initiative honored “Kandal Rajan” (Rajan Parayil), Kerala’s renowned mangrove crusader, and highlighted civil-military collaboration in safeguarding coastal ecology.
