Greening the Coast: Mangrove Plantation Drive at Ezhimala

On World Environment Day, Folkland International Centre for Folklore and Culture, with CSR support from Dorf Ketal Chemicals, led a mangrove plantation drive at Naval Academy Station Ezhimala. Guided by renowned environmentalist Mr. Rajan, known as Kandal Rajan, 1,000 mangrove saplings were planted. The initiative emphasized the vital role of mangroves in protecting coastal ecosystems and addressing climate change, reflecting a shared commitment to biodiversity and environmental stewardship.
