A distinguished team of archaeologists and heritage experts, including renowned archaeologist K.K. Muhammed, visited the ancient Brahmin villages and temples of Thaliparamba, exploring sites like Perinchelloor Gramam, Rajarajeswara and Trichambaram Temples, and Payyanur’s historic settlements. The team included INTACH Kozhikode Chapter Convener Archana Kamath, Mohan K, Colonel James Hunt, Prakash M, Athira S B, Shejith Ravindran, Nityanand Kamath, and Sangeeth Bhaskar. They studied cultural remnants and enjoyed traditional cuisine at Puracheri Keshavatheeram. At Tharakam, INTACH Kasaragod Convener Dr. V. Jayarajan welcomed the group, followed by a captivating folk song performance by Monacha Thambayi Amma and Monacha Shyamala. The event concluded with meaningful discussions on heritage preservation, attended by dignitaries and cultural advocates.
