Naga Kalamezhuthu and Pulluvan Pattu is a sacred ritual art form of Kerala performed in devotion to serpent deities. It involves the creation of an intricate floor drawing (kalam) using natural powders, accompanied by traditional devotional songs sung by the Pulluvan community. The ritual is believed to invoke divine blessings, ensuring prosperity, protection, and harmony within households. Nokkuvidya is a rare traditional puppetry art of Kerala in which puppets are skillfully balanced on a slender rod placed between the performer’s nose and upper lip. Accompanied by rhythmic music, the artist animates the puppets with remarkable control and precision, showcasing both physical balance and artistic expression.
