The ‘Saraswatham’ Navaratri celebrations culminated in a soul-stirring musical evening titled Khamaroli Raavu on 12th October 2024 at Tharakam, Talichalam. Organized by Folkland International Centre for Folklore and Culture with CSR support from Dorf Ketal, the event mesmerized the audience with nostalgic Malayalam film hits, popular Hindi melodies, and heartfelt Mappilappattu. Led by the gifted M.C. Kamarudheen and his team—Harshitha Kasaragod, Kamarudheen Keechery, Nazer Kannur, and Latheef Padanna—the evening overflowed with melodic charm and emotional resonance. Chief Guest Prof. A.M. Sreedharan reflected on music’s power to transcend boundaries and unite diverse communities. The event was presided over by Dr. V. Jayarajan, Chairman of Folkland, and attended by respected cultural figures including T.T. Krishnan, E.P. Balakrishnan, M.P. Murali, C.P. Sadanandan, Adv. Abdul Sattar, Adv. V.V. Ravindran, Umadevi, Vedaramana Vishnunamboothiri, and V.K. Prabhakaran. Khamaroli Raavu marked a fitting end to the celebrations—honoring tradition, diversity, and the timeless spirit of music.
