Kuruthola Kalary (Coconut leaf craft workshop) at Chandan Smaraka ALP School, Vellur

Folkland International Centre for Folklore and Culture, with CSR support from Dorf Ketal Chemicals India, organized a Coconut Leaf Craft Workshop at Chandan Memorial ALP School, Vellur, on 13th September 2024. The workshop introduced students to eco-friendly crafts and children's folklore. Led by renowned Theyyam artist and palm leaf craftsman Mr. Raveendran Panikker, the session offered hands-on learning and inspired creativity using natural materials. The initiative emphasized sustainability and cultural heritage, receiving enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and staff. Folkland remains committed to preserving traditional arts and promoting eco-conscious practices among the younger generation.
