Folkland's year-long Chenda Melam training for differently-abled children at Payyanur M.R.C.D. culminated in their debut performance of Panchari Melam. Fourteen students, trained under the guidance of Payyanur Sudhi, took the stage for the first time after rigorous practice. The event was held at Thayineri M.R.C.D. and presided over by Dr. V. Jayarajan, Chairman of Folkland. Renowned Kathakali maestro Guru T.T. Krishnan inaugurated the program. Former Payyanur Municipality Chairman, Sasi Vattakkovil, was the Chief Guest, while Principal A. Shobha delivered the welcome address. Prominent attendees included Adv. K.P. Sashidharan Nambiar, K.P. Sreedharan, T.K. Santosh, P.C. Ganeshan, and K. Ravi, shared their thoughts during the event. The students expressed their gratitude to Payyanur Sudhi, who was also honored during the occasion. The highlight of the event was the mesmerizing Panchari Melam performance by the 14 students, showcasing their dedication and skills acquired through the training program.
